Trade Jewellery Answers, Diamonds & Manufacturing

Caesar Diamonds is a Hatton Garden diamond house supplying wholesale diamonds, bespoke manufacturing and white label production to UK jewellers, designers and retailers. Below are straight answers to the questions trade buyers ask us most, each linking to the page or guide that covers it in full.

Diamond sourcing

How trade buyers source certified diamonds through Caesar Diamonds.

Where can UK jewellers buy wholesale diamonds?

Caesar Diamonds supplies GIA-certified natural and certified lab-grown diamonds to jewellers, designers, retailers and dealers from our Hatton Garden office at 100 Hatton Garden, Suite 225, London EC1N 8NX. Trade accounts receive wholesale pricing, dedicated sourcing and documentation suitable for resale. You can request a shortlist by shape, size, colour and clarity.

Do you supply natural and lab-grown diamonds?

We source both. Natural diamonds are supplied with a GIA grading report, and lab-grown stones are sourced with grading documentation and always clearly identified as lab-grown in writing. Whichever you choose, the certificate and provenance details are logged against your order or project record.

How do the 4Cs affect what I pay for stock?

Cut, colour, clarity and carat weight drive both the appearance and the trade price of a stone, and the four trade off against each other. Round carat weights such as 0.50ct and 1.00ct carry a price premium, so near-size stones can deliver the same look for less. We shortlist options so you can see the trade-offs before you commit.

Bespoke manufacturing

What bespoke jewellery manufacturing means and how a commission runs.

What is bespoke jewellery manufacturing?

Bespoke jewellery manufacturing means making a piece to a specific brief rather than adapting a stock design. At Caesar Diamonds the work runs through consultation, CAD design, approval, casting, stone setting and finishing in our own Hatton Garden workshop. Trade partners can pass us their clients’ commissions and keep the customer relationship.

How does a bespoke engagement ring get made?

We shortlist GIA-certified diamonds, model the ring in CAD and show photorealistic renders from every angle. Nothing is cast until the design is approved, and the ring is then cast, set and finished in-house, hallmarked in line with UK regulations and delivered fully insured. Every stage is documented in Caesar Track.

White label production

How white label jewellery manufacturing works for retailers and designers.

How does white label jewellery manufacturing work?

You brief us on design, metals, stones, finishing and sizing, and we produce the pieces to that specification without our own branding, ready for your packaging and labels. Orders are made in our Hatton Garden workshop and tracked in Caesar Track, and agreed specifications are held on file so repeat orders match earlier production.

Is there a minimum order for white label production?

We work from single pieces to small-batch production runs, so there is no need to commit to volume before you have seen our work. Volumes and lead times are agreed during onboarding, and most partnerships begin with a pilot order.

Trade accounts, minimums and terms

Opening a trade account and what to expect once it is open.

What is a diamond trade account?

A diamond trade account is a business relationship with a diamond supplier that gives a jeweller, designer or retailer wholesale pricing instead of retail pricing. It usually comes with a dedicated sourcing contact, documentation suitable for resale and agreed payment terms. At Caesar Diamonds trade accounts also open up white label manufacturing and CAD services.

How do I open a trade account with Caesar Diamonds?

Call +44 7400 400918 or send an enquiry through our contact page and tell us what you make and the volumes you need. We arrange a discovery call, and most partnerships begin with a pilot project before ongoing work. Approved partners then get wholesale diamond pricing and access to white label production.

What are your minimum order quantities?

We are flexible on minimums, especially for pilot projects. For ongoing production work we suggest batches that make logistical sense, and we agree volumes during onboarding rather than imposing a fixed threshold. Nothing is committed before you have seen our work.

What are your payment terms for trade orders?

Bespoke and trade orders typically run on a 50% deposit on order confirmation with the balance due before delivery, and all prices are quoted in sterling. We accept bank transfer and card payments, and alternative arrangements can be discussed for approved trade partners. Memo and consignment arrangements are also available depending on the relationship.

Materials, hallmarking and compliance

What your orders are made from and how they are certified.

What metals can trade orders be made in?

We manufacture in 18k white, yellow and rose gold, platinum, palladium and silver. Metal choice affects durability, colour and price, so it is confirmed at the brief stage alongside the stones and the finishing standard.

Are finished pieces hallmarked?

Yes. Every finished piece is assayed and hallmarked in line with UK hallmarking regulations before dispatch, with the documentation retained against the order record. Hallmarking is carried out as part of our in-house finishing process.

How do you guarantee conflict-free diamonds?

Our natural diamonds comply with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, and grading certificates and provenance details are logged against each project in Caesar Track. If you need origin or inscription details for a specific stone, we confirm them before you commit.
